Update the firmware first

Noisy shadows in N-Log video (fixed in firmware 1.10)

Some cameras may stop working (2026 service advisory)
majorIn March 2026, Nikon said certain Z6 III cameras were built with parts that don't meet its quality standards, which may make them inoperable. Nikon has identified the affected serial numbers and repairs those cameras free, parts and shipping included, even if the warranty has expired. Check your serial number on Nikon's advisory page.
Video recording fails on some CFexpress cards (fixed in firmware 1.02)
moderateNikon's firmware 1.02 fixed an issue where the camera would fail to record videos correctly on some CFexpress memory cards.
