Apple iPhone 11: Known Problems

Apple designs the batteries in iPhone 14 models and earlier to keep 80% of their original capacity at 500 complete charge cycles under ideal conditions. If you're charging more and more often, Apple says it might be time to service the battery.

Apple says a dirty or damaged charging port can trigger the "accessory not supported" alert, and its steps for an iPhone that won't charge include removing any debris from the port.

Apple found that a small percentage of iPhone 11 displays may stop responding to touch because of a display module issue. It affected iPhone 11 units made between November 2019 and May 2020, not the 11 Pro or Pro Max. Apple ran a free repair program for affected phones, covering each for 2 years after its first retail sale.

Apple rates the iPhone 11 IP68 to a depth of 2 metres for up to 30 minutes, but says the resistance isn't permanent and might decrease with normal wear. Liquid damage isn't covered under warranty.
