Samsung Galaxy S22: Known Problems

At launch, the Galaxy S22 series' Game Optimization Service (GOS) was found to slow games down far more than on earlier flagships. Samsung announced an update that lets you turn GOS off. In Europe, its changelog said GOS won't cap game performance as much as before, and the update then reached India.

Samsung lists the S22 series among its IP68 phones, but says water resistance isn't permanent and can decrease over time with wear or damage. It says to keep the phone away from saltwater, pool water, soapy water and chemicals.
